HYBRID VEHICLES NEED THE RIGHT TOWING METHOD

Hybrid vehicles combine a gasoline engine with an electric drive system, which means they should be handled with care during transport.

At First Response Towing, hybrid vehicles are moved on a professional flatbed with all four wheels off the ground whenever possible. This helps protect the drivetrain, electric components, and other systems that can be damaged by the wrong towing method.

I use wheel straps and proper securement points instead of tying into suspension or other sensitive parts.

From Ford Escape Hybrids and Toyota Camry Hybrids to other modern hybrid cars and SUVs, every vehicle gets the same careful treatment.

Real equipment. Real experience. Careful transport.

This heavily modified Jeep Wrangler was transported by First Response Towing in the Colorado mountains.

Vehicles like this can have oversized tires, suspension upgrades, aftermarket bumpers, recovery gear, and added weight that all need to be considered before loading and securing.

That’s why I use a flatbed and secure the vehicle at the wheels whenever possible, keeping the suspension and aftermarket components out of the tie-down points.

From daily drivers to lifted Jeeps, off-road builds, classics, motorcycles, EVs, and specialty vehicles, every tow gets the same careful approach.

This vintage Ford Econoline got the flatbed treatment from First Response Towing. Loaded carefully, secured at the wheels, and transported with the same attention we give every vehicle that goes on our truck.

Classic vehicles deserve more than just a tow — they deserve to be handled by someone who respects what they are.

From vintage vans and old-school muscle to everyday cars, trucks, motorcycles and EVs, First Response Towing gets them there safely.

Every Vehicle Gets the Same Professional Treatment

Whether it is a beat-up old Pinto or a freshly rebuilt Cadillac, every vehicle that rides on my truck gets the same professional treatment.

At First Response Towing and Roadside Services, the value of the vehicle does not decide how carefully I handle it. Every vehicle belongs to somebody, and every vehicle deserves to arrive in the same condition it was in when I picked it up.

This Cadillac is a good example of how I work.

Before loading, I look at the vehicle, the clearance, the wheels, and anything else that could affect how it should be transported. Once it is on the flatbed, I secure it properly at the wheels so the vehicle can ride naturally on its own suspension.

I also take pictures before pickup and after delivery. That protects the customer and it protects me. There should never be a question about how a vehicle was handled while it was in my care.

I have been towing since 1998, and one thing all those years have taught me is that doing the little things correctly matters.

No shortcuts. No unnecessary risks. No treating one customer’s vehicle as more important than another.

Old, new, everyday driver or somebody’s pride and joy — they all get the luxury of riding on my truck and being secured professionally.
